Welcome to My Blog

Hello Everyone!

Well, I guess as this is my first entry into this new blog, I should probably introduce myself..  Im pretty much like any other human being out there, with good and bad points that may be things you can agree with some days, and disagree with on others, just as we do with all other humans.  I hereby assert that I AM NOT PERFECT!  Therefore, you will maybe, agree with my points of view, or disagree with them, and I wont take offense...  Unless you are a troll, in which case, I will simply ignore and/or delete your childishness.  I put on my pants the same as all the rest of you, and I have questions and answers, both trivial and profound, just like the rest of the people who dare to fire a neuron or two.

By the way, that was an attempt at humor :)

Actually, I stumbled in here and saw that here was a chance to MAYBE find a blog that was better than the one I currently use.  The spam content of the first wave of e-mails will determine this quickly.  I got more bots than comments there, made by usernames that took me to product advertisements rather than a normal user blog page.  Anything fer a buck eh?

I want a place where I can share in a rich discussion with others on the many topics of life, both philosophical and profound; maybe even mundane.  I've found, long ago, that finding someone able to hold a proper conversation is a mild to difficult proposition at best.  This problem may or may not be complicated by the fact that I have albinism.  It somewhat changes how the world looks at you more or less.  I don't care what touchy-feely people say, humans key on differences of appearance, that is the way of things and I got over it long ago.

My focuses in life always revolved around science and technology, and still do to this day, though nowadays, I concern myself with energy production and ways to improve self reliance as well as questing for the ever elusive grail of power and efficiency.  Most of my recent days, months, and more have been spent doing experiments with solar and other forms of power and lighting, questing for true energy independence for common people.  If I find something that works and works well, I try to integrate it into my life and spread the word to others.  I could go on forever here about how I feel about centralized generation of power and its many evils, but I will save that for another post.  I think that with a little research, application, and refinement, products can be found or made that the average person can use to make themselves robust and independent as it pertains to electricity.

When you do things yourself, there is no one to hamstring you or exert influence over you.
You also can help others to achieve what you have, once you get there.  We all need to help each-other to stand on our own two feet, especially now with things the way they are.

Before you brand me by any political party name, let me say that I don't fall one way or the other.  That kind of party line thinking has caused more trouble for our country than ANYTHING else.  It has been used to divide us as a nation and is not productive in that we can't move forward to repair our nation.  It's like two snotty kids in the back seat of a car fighting, distracting the driver.  The driver is distracted and the tractor-trailer in the oncoming lane is almost here.  Ive always believed you should vote your mind after taking a look at what is happening around you and knowing about the people who are running.

Politics aside, some people think I take a critical and sometimes cruel view of things.  The world is a cruel place with cruel realities, some we face everyday, and some that are coming along faster than anyone will realize.  Sometimes, drastic and horrible things have to inevitably happen to return balance to a system.  I hope someday, we become a world at peace with itself, but I know that the struggle for that kind of thing has yet to be overcome.  And yet, looking at it from another angle, it could be accomplished so easily, but people have their 'hangups'...  If we wanted to, we could just do it.  We could just put our weapons down for an instant and just shake the hand of the person next to us, but I don't think that will happen with our current mindset.  We are just monkeys with sticks beating the snot out of each-other at the moment.  Yet, you can just see it, taunting mankind like a carrot on a stick.

That was a bit overboard, but hey, IT'S A BLOG isn't it?

Come on!  I DARE you to make life better for yourself and someone else, even in a small way!  Heck, you may even feel good about it later.

So anyway, I hope I haven't scared you away, and if not, then I'm very glad to meet you.  I cant promise I will post often, as it takes time to say things that are worth saying, unlike those that blather every time they take a bowl movement for the world to hear.  Be patient.  Quality versus quantity.

You kids need to pace yer selves :)
